What does essential actually mean? What sets an object or a product apart as simple and useful? For us, sourcing and creating life's essentials is about encouraging better living through better buying, and that means buying consciously.
At Quarters, that begins in-store. Our kiosks are staffed by experts who care about finding the right solution for every customer way more than they care about "making the sale".
By slowing down, and paring back our purchasing, we can enjoy the value of what we do have.

We also believe in buying conscientiously. We're under no illusions - we are a store, a place to sell things which are useful for everyday life. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't take care to source our products responsibly.
What does that mean? It means protecting our environment by reducing our air miles as much as we can. It means supporting the manufacturer who pays skilled craftsmen a fair wage. Most of all, it means sourcing and trading in products which are built to last. We've had enough of stack-em-high-sell-em-cheap. Buying conscientiously is in our DNA.
3.
Most of all, we believe in buying well. That means investing time and energy in sourcing products which are well made, which have been honed over time and are as useful as they can be. We believe in buying for a purpose.
